Ability Tree First Coast

ConnectAbility

During my time interning at Ability Tree First Coast, I was in charge of creating a monthly newsletter for the Ability Tree’s three niche audiences. Families/ESE teachers, businesses and churches. The goal of ConnectAbility as we named it, is to provide resources for those impacted by disabilities in northeast Florida. The newsletters include family spotlights, which serve as testimonials for the family members of our special needs friends. ConnectAbility also provides helpful tips and tricks to being more inclusive and adaptive, all while keeping the community up to date on Ability Tree First Coast events!

Trim the Tree is Ability Tree First Coast’s annual holiday party and fundraiser. The event is open to the public and is an opportunity for special needs families to come together for an inclusive holiday party. Complete with holidays crafts, pictures with Santa and a 50/50 raffle.
